That does it. Now I’ve seen it all. Technology makes life easier and easier (arguably), and Igo Home Products have a device that makes an evolutionary step for the corkscrew – One-touch, battery operated “Cork-out”. It seems that the corkscrews have evolved…I guess
It started with the tradition corks screw, evolved to the levered corkscrew that some of our parents had in their liquor cabinets (does anyone still have liquor cabinets? just curious), and I thought the final evolution was my personal favorite the MetroKane Rabbit. But NOOOoooo, the folks at Igo Home Products were not satisfied with the effort required to grab the Rabbit’s ears and turn the crank so they came up with a powered corkscrew that can
remove a cork in seconds as opposed to….multiple seconds I guess. It runs of 4 AA batteries, which’ll cost you a few dollars every couple weeks if you like your wine, and even includes an automatic cork ejection feature, or as I like to refer to it – “reverse”.
Slightly less expensive then some knock-off MetroKane Rabbits, I would recommend giving it a try if you suffer from Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.
Enjoy the Wine Life!
